Gordon Coombes- Executive Director
Gordon graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University. Gordon has over 16 years of local law enforcement experience. He started his law enforcement career at Colorado State University Police Dept. while attending college at CSU. He then moved on to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. He spent the majority of his law enforcement career assigned to a drug task force investigating organized crime and mid to upper level narcotics trafficking organizations. Gordon also spent 11 years with the Larimer County Sheriff Office SWAT Team where he served primarily as a SWAT Sniper.
After his career in law enforcement, Gordon started a private investigation and consulting firm. Gordon grew the business to a team of 4 investigators and consultants. Gordon has also served as a regulatory compliance consultant for the insurance industry and has worked with several government and private organizations on regulatory compliance issues nationwide. In 2010 Gordon started a high tech startup company servicing the emergency services industry. Gordon still owns that that company today.
DAWN NANNINI, PH.D., ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Dawn grew up in California and earned degrees from UC Santa Barbara and California State University, Sacramento before moving to Fort Collins in 1998 to attend Colorado State University. She earned her doctorate in Social Psychology in 2004. Before joining, what was then, Team Fort Collins in 2006, she served as an independent contractor for various evaluation projects, taught college-level courses in psychology, and cared for my young family.
At Team Wellness and Prevention, Dawn serves as the program evaluator, grant writer, and have recently moved into an associate director position. She has always been proud of the work that TEAM has done in our community and She looks forward to devoting many more years to the worthwhile cause of helping young people navigate difficult decisions for their brightest futures.
DIANE ATWOOD, FINANCE DIRECTOR
Diane’s passion for nonprofit work has led her into working in the field of finance for various nonprofits. Her work experience began in Canada at a church and mission nonprofit, followed by working for a mission organization in Costa Rica and then Ecuador. Marriage to Diane’s wonderful husband came with immigration to the United States. After working at several nonprofits in Rochester, NY they moved to Colorado where she has been the Finance Director for TEAM Wellness & Prevention for 10 years. Outside of work, Diane enjoys life as a budding artist and spending quality time in the mountains with Lee.
ADAM MUSIELEWICZ, COALITION DIRECTOR
Adam grew up in Michigan and moved to Colorado in 2006 as an AmeriCorps volunteer. During his year of service, Adam worked with homeless and runaway youth at Urban Peak Denver. Afterwards, he was hired on by Urban Peak and worked with young people around job readiness and training. Working with and for homeless youth was a formative experience for Adam, one that he applied to various other work settings; coordinating TANF services for refugee youth and families, providing navigation services for youth and families in public housing, and finally providing technical assistance to grantees receiving prevention funding through the State of Colorado.
Adam’s family enjoys all things outdoors; hiking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, etc. The mountains, rivers, and lakes are always destinations. Whether catching a festival downtown, or attending a community meeting at the Poudre Library, his family enjoys being part of the community.
AUBRIE HARTNELL MPH, PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Aubrie Hartnell is the Program Director for TEAM Wellness & Prevention. With her Master’s degree in Public Health, Aubrie has extensive experience and education in health-related program theory, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Prior to her employment at Team, Aubrie worked as a high school teacher in several St. Louis regional schools. Aubrie uses her enthusiasm for youth wellness and prior educational and professional experiences to facilitate TEAM Wellness & Prevention’s program, Define Youth. In addition to facilitating the Define Youth program, Aubrie serves as secretary for the Partnership for Healthy Youth, plans and co-facilitates youth leadership societies, and assists in planning and putting on TEAM events. In her free time, Aubrie loves to hike, run, rock climb, snowboard, and play with her dog.
MEG KEIGLEY, PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Meg Keigley is one of our Youth Education Specialists. She leads our Youth Empowered Yoga program and teaches brain-based drug and alcohol prevention. Meg’s passion for working with youth started as the Program Director at a children’s oncology summer camp in Montana. She realized that the children. teens, and young adults who attended each week were transformed by the activities and community they became a part of. After leaving Montana, Meg pursued this interest by returning to graduate school at CSU where she researched the impact that extracurricular activities have on youth. Now, Meg has the opportunity to help youth think about what activities they are passionate about and what can help them stay healthy and free from substance use. Outside of work Meg enjoys camping, fishing, running, yoga, knitting, spending time with her dogs, and trying to make rollerblading popular again
